The map below is about my resaerch of Stanmer Park, the closest open park to Sussex Universty as well.
I try to know more about this beautiful park, not only the nature, but also the human culture. Because there are a lot of festivals hosted in this park, like "Shakedown" music festival, Apple Day, Brighton Big Dog mountain bike races and so on. Sounds amazing, right? In addition, there are many charity activities as well, such as Spring Watch, Special Branch Tree Nursery and Pup aid. All these above help people know about anout nature and animales, and love them more.
I love this park and like sharing my own trip with friends. Except blog and google map, I used another special way to tell my personal trip to others, that's ' Dead drop '.
‘Dead Drops’ is an anonymous, offline, peer to peer file-sharing network in public space. USB flash drives are embedded into walls, buildings and curbs accessible to anybody in public space. Everyone is invited to drop or find files on a dead drop. Plug your laptop to a wall, house or pole to share your favorite files and data. I like this way because this offline and creative way to share files. We rely on the Internet too much than before nowadys, it's the time to find some new platforms to share. DD allow you to make your own Dead drop, and your own location. Of coure ou can post way Dd location online and make more people know your DD, but if you totally dont like anything with Internet, maybe you can use other special way to punlicize your Dd location @..@
